Take It to the Head

Sorry for making you guys wait so long and not posting when I said I would. Writer's block is a bitch. Plus my aunt came home from Texas and I haven't seen her in 2 years so I was sorta busy. After they finished breakfast, they were getting dressed. Drake was pulling on his shirt when Nicki asked, “What car are we taking?”

“Well, we wouldn’t want anyone to get suspicious, so you go ahead first and I’ll be there a couple minutes later.”

“Alright, babe. I’m leaving now, so I’ll see you when you get there.” He walked her downstairs and out to her car.

“Be safe,” he told her.

“I will,” she stated before stretching up to peck his lips.

When she got to the set, she went straight to her dressing room. She changed into a pair of striped leggings, a green tutu, a cut off, black, netted shirt, and black and green, platform combat boots. Joyce and Terrence came in and she sat in the chair in front of the vanity so they could do her hair and make up.

When Drake arrived, he saw Khaled, Chris, Ross, and Wayne all chatting. He dapped them up and exchanged greetings before joining their conversation.

“Alright, Chris, I need you on set now!” called the director, Colin Tilley. They started shooting the scenes and Drake made a cameo with Khaled during Ross’ verse.

Nicki finally emerged from her dressing room and saw Drake talking to Busta Rhymes. She bit her lip and watched him. She couldn’t deny how good he looked in his blue and white varsity jacket. She was only snapped out of her trance when Colin called for her on set.

After she finished her take, she purposely avoided Drake, as not to draw any suspicion. As far as anyone knew, they still weren’t talking. Once back in the privacy of her dressing room, she stripped down to her bra and panties and took off her blonde wig. She grabbed her phone from the vanity and plopped down on the couch. She saw she had a text from Drake.

Drake: So you tryna avoid me?

Nicki: We don’t want anyone to get suspicious :p

I guess she’s right, he thought to himself and shrugged. He checked to see if anyone was around then responded.

Drake: Hmm true. Come to the door

She smiled and walked across the room before opening the door and grabbing his collar and quickly pulling him inside. He noticed her attire and frowned.

“Awww, I missed the peep show.” She just rolled her eyes, pushed his chest, and walked back over to the couch. He sat down next to her and started placing kisses on her neck.

“I know I promised you that we’d finish, but I didn’t mean on set,” she said playfully before redressing.

“Well, can I at least get a kiss?” he begged.

“I guess I could do that.” She wrapped her around his neck and he wrapped his around her waist before their lips crashed together in pure passion. After what seemed like an eternity, they finally pulled apart.

“You should go before people start wondering,” she suggested.

“Alright, babe. You coming back to my place tonight?”

“Yeah, pauz.”

“See you there.” He kissed her one last time before opening the door, looking both ways, and leaving. He headed to the gym to meet his trainer and she went off to tour rehearsals where SB would join her.

They both got back home around 5 and they were exhausted. After showering, they got in bed and Love & Basketball was on. They decided to order take out since neither of them wanted to cook. Drake got up 15 minutes later when the doorbell rang and ventured downstairs to pay the delivery man. When they were done eating they sat in the comfortable silence.

"Hey, Nic..." he said.

"Yeah, babe?"

"You know I love you, right?" he inquired.

"Of course." she kissed his nose before dozing off. He just watched her. She was so beautiful. How did I get so lucky? he thought before turning off the television and drifting to sleep himslef
